gaaaargh you hemingway!

And so my reading break has almost come to an end. I managed to finish reading my english novel today, but I don’t get it. =(   Hemingway’s In Our Time is just too confusing for me; its a compilation of short stories that is weirdly arranged. Some stories are connected, and some stories are not. It’s really confusing, or maybe I just can’t read academic novels. *sigh*

Tomorrow, I plan on starting and finishing up my geog assignment so I can start concentrating on studying for my geog 312 midterm and possibly start on my paper that is due on Friday. Hopefully, all goes well and that I would actually stick to my study plan. 

Anyway, it is 1:32 AM. I must go to bed. Goodnight.

Reading Break = Break

Oh my goodness, this week has really been an unproductive week.  Reading break has really been a  Break from school for me, and that is not good. I was hoping that I would get a head start on studying for my midterm next week, finish my geography assignment, do some research for my term paper and start on my english paper. But I’ve done nothing! NOTHING. Well… I actually did one school-related activity but I’m still screwed. Tomorrow will be major catch-up day for me (hopefully!). I need to catch up with my english readings too! AHHHHH.

Knee update: I got laser treatment on my gimpy knee yesterday because the doctor finally found where the cartilige is messed up. Laser treatment looks pretty cool but I’m not sure if it really helps or not, because my knee feels the same.  I’m not really sure on how it works because it is pretty much a laser pointer being pointed at my knee. Weird.  >.<”

I must say, my knee has experienced lots of neat and cool treatments: electric shocks, electric stimulation, ultrasound, and laser! But sadly, I still dont know what is wrong with it.

I will post a picture of my knee getting the treatment later because I’m too lazy to upload it to my computer right now. The picture will be in low quality because I used my cellphone camera. Lately, Ive been wanting to get a new camera phone (Sony Ericsson k790) for times like this. The phone has 3.2 megapixel camera and it looks pretty cool, but I highly doubt that I will get a new phone. My contract doesnt end until November 2009.  =(

Its almost 2 AM,  I should head off to bed. I need to start sleeping early again. I’m slowly starting to develop my bad habbits again. Aiyah.

my goodness. 3 months?!

I’ve been thinking of giving this blog site a name. “Jath’s blog” seems rather very wimpy and its lacking some spunk. I haven’t thought of any “cool” title yet, but hopefully I’ll get one soon. I wouldn’t be surprised though, if I decided to not to change it and keep it plain and simple. Simplicity is always sexy. >.<” 

Reading break officially started today, actually it started yesterday but its past midnight already. Well, technically, it started this past saturday because that was the first day of my 9 day “break” from school.

So on my “first” day of break, I went to the doctor’s to get my knee checked. My doctor did not really checked my knee to see if anything is wrong but rather just asked me some questions (ie. where does it hurt? how did you injure it? etc…).  He decided that it would be best if I go see a knee specialist and get it checked, so he booked me to a 3-month-waitlist-knee specialist. 

Yup, thats right. 3 months. My goodness, does that mean I will be gimpy for the next 3 months?!  AHHHHH. Lets hope not. *crosses fingers*

I decided to go to my physiotherapy doctor to get a second opinion because he seems to be more knowledgeable with regards to the condition of my knee. He told me that the waitlist is really long because I’m not under WCB (or something like that). He told me that  I should check-in physiotherapy about once a week instead to get some treatments.  *sigh*

Hopefully in 4 weeks, I will be alright because I have 4 more $10 sessions with physiotherapy for the rest of the year and then its $40 per session. Awww man I’m going to be broke. =(
