July to Sept update
23 09 2008Time for another update. Since i finally got my eeepc back (mom borrowed it for awhile since her computer broke), i think its time to write an entry.
So since my last post, not much has happened. But here are some memorable events that I rememeber:
Our church’s summer con was on July 25-27. It was pretty fun, but really different from the ‘usual’ summer con I’ve been to. Maybe because we had a pentecostal pastor. It was very different from our church’s style – very conservative, old-school like. But overall it was really good, though it could’ve been better if we got more people to come. I was reminded on how serious prayer should be taken and i need to pray more seriously.

Next on the list is VBS. VBS was in august and that was pretty fun. I had the grade ones and they were a really a handful. My group only had 6 kids (other groups had 7) but they are the intense, my kid’s personality are so different from each other, so they were pretty tough to handle. Good thing i had Erwin to help me out. It was really fun but tiring. Got the chance to play with the kids and give them a good time.

I went to pitch and putt once again, but this time with my highschool classmates. It was pretty fun playing golf and catching up on how they are doing. I did a lot better than the previous time, I improved by 11 strokes. hehehe, Im kinda getting used to it. I hope on playing golf sometime soon, quite pricey though.
Lately, ive been thinking of joining a gym and start working out. I need to lose weight hAHAha. I feel really disgusted at myself after eating (and winning) a burger eating contest(3 burger patty). I didnt eat dinner or breakfast the following day haha.
School update:
School is back and beginning to suck again. Im only taking 4 courses but Im already behind my readings. *sigh*. Im currently taking 3 geog courses (310 earth and its resources, 316 natural hazards and 372 cartography) and 1 psyc class (319 applied developmental). So far the classes are not bad, except for geog310. I just cant help but get sidetracked during class. Aiyah.
So I finally decided what to graduate with. I went to my geog advisor last week to see if I have everything I need to graduate with a minor degree in geog (I was planning on graduating this year with a majors degree in psychology and a minor degree in geog). She said that I currently do, she also added that I can graduate with a Geog major degree if i decide to stay another half year and take 3 or 4 courses. So that does it, Im not going to graduate this year but instead, next year with a double major degree. I hope Im doing the right thing.
Anyway, I will end my post here. This entry has been really disorganized and clattered, but im too lazy to fix that. Maybe some other time. Haha. I’m going to bed and need to get my sleep. Lots of work need to be done tomorrow. *sigh*
