Summer to-do list task #8: Tennis. check.
Me, Jackie, Sandra and Erwin went to play tennis today. It took us quite awhile to find a court. We went to Odlin Park (and the other one), Ferndale (the “secret” one), Palmer, and Blundell to play; but all the courts were taken. So we decided to go to the one in Minoru/Gilbert. I heard this place is usually full because the tennis club is located there. I guess we were in luck when we got there because we got an open court.
It was pretty fun to play tennis once again. I haven’t played for over a year so I’m a little happy to be back on tennis grounds. I played pretty bad though, not saying that I was good before. Oh well, it feels really good to hit tennis balls and hear the ball hitting the sweet spot of a racquet once again.
hmmm … I want to try racquetball next time.
*the picture reminds me of Friday Night Lights. All the courts were empty because it was already 10:40 PM. hehe
